Mooch Tee Red Stripe

Wide striped tees have long been associated with French nautical garments, where the stripes helped spot sailors at sea. The style later found its way to midcentury Americana, most notably during the iconic t-shirt era of Marlon Brando and James Dean. The distinctive 4-inch stripe is a nod to the rebellious spirit of that time.

The tee is crafted from a custom 8-ounce, yarn-dyed, 100% cotton fabric developed at a specialized stripe knitting mill in Japan. Cut and sewn in the USA using overlock seam construction and single needle blind hem, the Mooch is rinsed and pre-shrunk for a consistent fit. Available in sizes S-XXL.
